Isn’t it good to be back? After a long break, and plenty of roster changes, the CoD World League swung back into action last week, providing plenty of action and surprises for fans around the world. Last week, odds for the North American region were thin on the ground, but thankfully Bet365 have come to the rescue, with odds on every NA match tonight. With teams jostling for position early in the season, everyone will be looking to pick up big wins tonight, and attempt to set the tone for their season.
Luminosity (2/5, Bet365) vs. Hundred Thieves (7/4, Bet365)
Nadeshot’s new squad kicks off NA proceedings for the second week in a row, as Hundred Thieves take on Luminosity. Hundred Thieves may be coming off a loss last Wednesday, but their big win on Tuesday against TSM shows they are no slouches, and may be a surprise package this season. Meanwhile, Luminosity are in a state of transition, as they attempt to adapt to their new squad. With the slaying power of Replays and Saints, and the experience and leadership of TeePee, Luminosity are deserved favourite.
Recommended Bet: Luminosity to win with Bet365 (2/5)
Team EnVyUs (1/6, Bet365) vs. Team SoloMid (7/2, Bet365)
Last week was not a good week for Team SoloMid. They started off the week in a nail-biter against Hundred Thieves, coming from two maps down to tie the series, only to lose in Round 11 of map five. They then went on to face Rise Nation, who promptly swept them aside 3-0. TSM will be anxious to turn their fortunes around early, however they face a huge roadblock in the form of Team EnVyUs. EnVy were disappointed not to walk away with two wins last week, but a comfortable win over eLevate and an extremely tight loss to Season 1 Champions OpTic Gaming is a good start for the boys in blue. There isn’t a great deal of value in this game, but we can’t advise putting any money on TSM.
Recommended Bet: Team EnVyUs to win (1/6, Bet365)
Cloud9 9(11/2, Bet365) vs. Rise Nation (1/10, Bet365)
What a week for Rise Nation. A dominant 3-0 win over TSM and a huge victory over Season 1 rivals OpTic Gaming see Rise sitting on an excellent 2-0 record. Meanwhile, Cloud9 made an immediate impact on the CWL, beating Hundred Thieves and Dream Team. While both teams look extremely strong, Rise are the strong favourites going into this one, but with talent like Havok and Llama on the team, mixed in with the experience of former Curse NY player Mochila, don’t be surprised if Cloud9 pulls off an early upset.
Recommended Bet: Cloud9 to win(11/2, Bet365)
