Hot off the heels of one of Black Ops 3’s top events in Anaheim, Activision’s Major League Gaming are back with another classic Call of Duty event. This time around we’re in Orlando, Florida, with three solid days of action. We refer to this as a “classic” event given the ever popular pool play followed by double elimination format that used to dominate throughout Black Ops 2 and Ghosts.
We took a closer look at double elimination recently, but here’s the most important points to remember when you’re betting in Orlando. Since each individual match is only a best of 5, there’s an increased chance of unexpected upsets game to game. But overall, the second chance that double elimination offers will allow for a more predictable overall winner and team placement. There is also an increased importance placed on Search and Destroy, making up 40% of maps in a series.

As with most Call of Duty events, you’ll need to be on your toes to find the best odds. We usually recommend Sky bet and Bet365 for having the most active and updates odds, as well as options such as single map bets and betting throughout the match. Unfortunately odds are not live yet, but we’ll keep you updated throughout the weekend. For now, we’ll just give our best advice. Remember that some of the best respawn specialist teams are going to suffer from the loss of the second hardpoint match. That included heavyweights like Optic Gaming and FaZe Clan. Put a little faith in teams with SnD and Uplink skills, such as Europe’s Team Infused or North America’s Team eLevate, that often slip under the radar with frequent placements around 3rd.
